Proving IslamIncompatible with Article 9 of the ICCPR

ICCPR

Article 9

  1. Everyone has the right to liberty and security of person. No one shall be subjected to arbitrary arrest or detention. No one shall be deprived of his liberty except on such grounds and in accordance with such procedure as are established by law.

33:26. And those of the people of the Scripture who backed them (the disbelievers) Allâh brought them down from their forts and cast terror into their hearts, (so that) a group (of them) you killed, and a group (of them) you made captives.

Sahih Bukhari Volume 6, Book 60, Number 80:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Verse:--"You (true Muslims) are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind." means, the best of peoples for the people, as you bring them with chains on their necks till they embrace Islam.
I added bold emphasis to one clause in the ayeh and one in the hadith. Each of them is sufficient to demonstrate how Islam contravenes Article 9.1. Islamic law requires that a minimum of one military expedition be mounted against Kuffar in every year and that captive women and children are enslaved.

I hope that Shari'ah is not the sort of law the authors of the ICCPR were contemplating when they wrote Article 9.

Ali Ben Ali Mohammad Abdul,

""Proving Judaism and Christianity Incompatible with Article 9 of the ICCPR""

Leviticus 25

25:44 Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids.

25:45 Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession.

25:46 And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever:

As the good Packerwatch wrote,

"The point that I have continually tried to make and that you have continually misconstrued or ignored, is that no religious text is uncorrupted. You constantly quote violence and immorality in the Qur'an, while ignoring the same things in the Bible. I'm a Christian but I don't take every word in the Bible literally. If a true Christian must believe every word of the Bible to be a literal fact, than I guess I'm not a true Christian..."

PW and Ema,

Look, for whatever reason, each of you and Ben and myself are regularly engaged in a discussion of the nature of Islam. Believe it or not, I actually appreciate the time and effort each of you have put in to express your thoughts on this blog, and in some strange way, I consider each of you 'friends'...albeit sparring partners. Ben has rare and thorough understanding of specific verses in the Qu'ran as well as it's overall message. I consider him one of a few true 'experts'. I have been reading in the Qu'ran since the mid 1980's so as to understand what a Muslim believes. I also have studied every other belief system and have often spoken out against them all and taught why they are wrong. My degree in in Biblical Education, so I know very well what the Bible teaches. I taught the Bible and ancient, western and American history for many years until I lost my 13-year old son several years ago. I started this blog as a distraction to try to keep my mind off that terrible loss which is with me every moment of every day. The blog is direct and does not pull punches because I know from experience that when stripped to its bare, elemental form, a man stands alone with his Creator. I have no time for the foolishness of false, empty belief systems. And especially harmful, murderous ones. None of them helped me in the dark night of my soul, in the hour of my greatest loss and overwhelming grief. But God did. The Lord Jesus was very present in the time of my trouble. He was comforting in powerful, measurable and definitive ways. When the pain was so intense that I really thought my heart would explode, as others prayed for us, we felt the comforting, healing presence of God flood over our souls and give peace. This was repeated for many months. Furthermore, we experienced true things which can not be explained by natural means, meaning that they could only be described as supernatural. Big things. Amazing things. Unbelievable things. True miracles. They were done to assure us of things which were necessary for us to be able to live through such a time. And for several years, God intimately ministered to my broken heart every moment of every day, waking me up with hymns and songs already playing in my spirit as I awoke, teaching me heavy and powerful things every single day. I began to take notes so as to not forget what I was learning and ended up writing a book about it. I am regularly engaged with other parents who have lost a child, to offer them the very real hope which I experienced, and continue to experience, but you won't find me there because I use other monikers than 'Packsmack.' You are both liberally-minded. Ema is likely a relatively harmless, likable Muslim male and PW is likely a responsible, marginal Christian who is not a Muslim; both of you want, at least, to minimize the threat of Islam, for whatever reason. We both can't be right. I say that the Bible is God's Word. Every word. You say that the Bible, in its entirety, is not God's Word, and emphasize the not-so-bad elements of Islam, while overlooking the deadly parts by attempting to say that they have parallels in the Bible. You err in that you do not understand the difference between God leading Israel into a one-time conquest of a land filled with wicked people, and the rest of Israel's history. You err in that you do not understand that the full message of the Bible reveals that there is a true standard of right and wrong (brought to the world through Israel) yet NONE of us lives up to that standard; not even Israel. "There is none righteous; no not one." Hence the need for a universal Savior of mankind. If you have problems with this, then you have problems with God and His revelation to the world, not with me or with Ben. Mohammed is dead and has not done miracles. Jesus is alive and has. I have seen them. You both can continue to ignore what misery Islam is bringing to people around the the world, and ignore that its adherents are only doing exactly what the Qu'ran instructs them to do, but do not confuse your views with enlightenment, hope or truth. You don't get to define what such things are; God already has. Have a nice weekend.

PackSmack,

You and Ali Ben Ali Mohammad Abdul continue to ignore Islam, Christianity, Judaism, and all other forms of organized religion do not bring anything to the world. It is people’s actions resulting from their belief in the dogma and doctrines of their religion that cause changes.

Speaking only for myself, I am having no problems with a supreme being. I have problems with sanctimonious pontificating from those whi “Will speak wickedly for God and talk deceitfully for him?”

Keeping in mind that winners write the history, your bible was written after the fact by men trying to justify their ungodly actions!

Take moment with me. Chuck the Canaanite is out in his family’s fields tending herds and the lands his family has owned for generations. Up come Henry the Hebe (Ali Ben Ali Mohammad Abdul’s epitaph) and his gang to tell “wicked” Chuck that Henry owns the land because Henry’s god says so. Not only that, but all of Chuck’s wives, children and property are slaves of Henry.

What would you suggest Chuck do? Explain again “the difference between God leading Israel into a one-time conquest of a land filled with wicked people.”

How many times have _you_, an admitted non-Muslim, told the world what Muslims believe?

How many times have you said that _all_ followers of Islam are absolutely irredeemably EVIL incarnate, cannot be tolerated and _must_ be indiscriminately killed?

_________

"I have no time for the foolishness of false, empty belief systems. And especially harmful, murderous ones. None of them helped me in the dark night of my soul, in the hour of my greatest loss and overwhelming grief."

You say you have found the light. Good for you.

Yet because others do not follow you that somehow non-followers of _your_ discovered way are evil. With you, it is all or nothing, time and again you take a fundamentalist’s approach.

You choose to accentuate the differences in people and cry war. I pick to live in peace, looking for the things we have in common.
