Right Hooks Blog Welcomes Additional Author

Until today, this blog has had three registered authors, "Ben," "RightHooks," and "RRRRROK," who has remained inactive.

We are pleased to announce today that an additional author will be joining the ranks. This author's name is, "Son of Shaphat."

Son of Shaphat brings an additional dynamic to this site in that he spends a lot of time with his ear to the ground as it applies to world events and Biblical prophecy. A LOT of time...

He is well-connected to some of the biggest names in this field.

His outlook, and, therefore insight, is consistent with the common evangelical protestant Christian interpretation of the Bible and eschatology. There is nothing mystical or spooky about his views, they are solid and well-grounded.

So Son of Shaphat, an experienced, educated and culturally-astute man, will be our eyes and ears into how the dramatic events unfolding in the world today are lining up with Scripture. This is something we should all be paying attention to, and Son of Shaphat will be keeping us alerted to what is, and what might be.

Therefore, we eagerly await his posts.

Welcome, Son of Shaphat, to RightHooks.

Readers, keep your eyes open for his upcoming posts and be willing to learn from this man...his words are wise and we all should take heed.

PW, hope you're enjoying your summer break.

Now you are not a heathen like Emma; I would put money down on the idea that you were either raised in a church-going home or that you have very close relatives who are strong Christians.

So though you seem to be drooling at the idea of a strong Christian perspective soon to be evident on this blog, it would not surprise me if you might end up learning something because you are not actively hostile to Christianity as is Emma.

In fact, when our new author starts posting in about a month (he's quite busy at the moment), you might want to share what he posts with the Christians in your close family. I know this author and know exactly what he will bring to the table; it is going to be eye-opening, challenging and rich. What he will present is the real deal - the very thoughts of the leading experts in the area of understanding the times as it relates to Biblical prophecy.

So drool away, but don't be surprised if you start to understand some things and learn a thing or two...

Biblical prophecies are always wrong. Maybe your guy is the one out of the thousands of false prophets who turns out to be right.

But just playing the odds, I'd say he's just as wrong as the rest of the people over the past two thousand years who have thought the end of the world is just around the corner.

PW, no, this guy is not a 'prophet,' I don't think there are any more current prophets; this guy simply is generally aware what the prophecy in the Bible says.

The prophecy in the Bible hasn't changed for 2000 years. Some of it is as old as 3000 years.

And your statement, "Biblical prophecy is always wrong," is not an informed statement. Yes people who claim to be prophets are wrong (i.e.Mohammed) and a bunch of "Christian" pentecostal-types, and many others, but to say that Biblical prophecy is always wrong is absolutely false. I could challenge you to name a single one that is wrong, but until you studied it, you couldn't speak out of an understanding of the topic so then it would just be an argument, and I'm not in the mood to go there with you since there is no need to at this point, on this topic.

And I'm not intending an insult saying that you don't understand it; you study law, not Biblical prophecy, so you would not be equipped to argue one way or another since you did not have the information.

Which makes our new author's subject matter an opportunity to become informed for any one not up to speed on the subject matter; that's all.
