Charming Snakes

Ralph Peters exercised extreme clarity while writing about religious extremism in this article in the New York Post: Petting The Snakes. After reading these brief excerpts, click the link and read the entire article, paying particular attention to paragraphs including italic emphasis.

Of course, we didn't take faith's power seriously. We still don't. Washington continues, frantically, to deny that belief has anything to do with religious terrorism.
To understand what Muslims believe and their belief affects their behavior, we need to become [familiar] with the source of their belief: the Qur'an. The link at the end of the previous sentence goes to the Muslim Student Association site at U.S.C. It displays three parallel translations of Islam's canon of scripture. If you prefer a single translation with the translator's explanation of the text, try the work of Abdullah Yusuf Ali, one of the three provided by the M.S.A.
Fired by visions of serving an angry god, the terrorists are sure that they're bound to win, that all those of weaker belief will fall before them. Nothing short of death will make them quit.
The key concept in that excerpt is triumphalism, derived from belief in Allah's promises of victory and reward. Read Know Thine Enemy (part 11) for a glimpse into the roots of Islam's triumphalism.
When dealing with those who believe they're on a mission from their god, our cult of negotiations plays into their hands. They'll break any agreement, when the time is right. A deal isn't a deal. Unbelievers have no standing.
9:1-3 pretty well take care of that issue. Moe made a ten year treaty with Mekkah when he was weak, and broke it after three years when he had amassed an army.

Note this sentence: "the terrorists are sure that they're bound to win, that all those of weaker belief will fall before them."

Which is why the liberal ideology WILL lead to our down fall, to the triumph of the jihadist; today's liberal does have 'weaker faith.' in fact, he has no faith at all. He believes in green, in evolution, in [biased] 'tolerance' and multi-culturalism (except the Judeo-Christian culture, that is), but he doesn't believe in God.

So the terrorists are right in this assessment, they WILL overcome those of weaker faith.

Unfortunately, however, the terrorist has failed to calculate that there are others in this country besides the weak, lame, appeasing, surrendering, licentious, mamby-pamby, whining liberal puke - there are also the unrelenting, unmovable, rock-solid people of the Judeo-Christian culture who live here too. Ask the 1940's German Army about these people; ask Imperialistic Japanese soldiers about these Americans. Ask the ten million missing North Vietnamese or the hundreds of thousands of missing North Korean soldiers...oh, wait, you can't ask any of these people because we buried them all.

The NY Post author was right when he said this:

"Never underestimate a fanatic's fanaticism. Dealing with religious extremists is the toughest challenge of all. They have one great advantage over the rest of us: True believers submerge their lives in their cause."

Yes, true. And Islam does not have the corner on the market of true believers. Though America's drooling liberals are rapidly trying to surrender this country to Islam, in order to succeed here the Muslims must go through the rest of us...and my faith says that that will be their own 'toughest challenge of all.'

In fact, it ain't gonna happen.

Amen PackSmack! Liberal ideology has all but destroyed this country (from the inside out, just like "Uncle Joe" said it/he would). Liberal ideology is nothing more than communist ideology-and we all know how THAT turns out. Like you PackSmack I will NEVER sit back and watch them (liberals and Islam) tear us down, worse than they already have. It just ain't gonna happen is right!!! They'll have to go thru us fanatics first . . .

We are not alone, there are many thousands who are, individually, determined to resist to the end. And we are beginning to unite.

Act! For America, United American Committee and other groups have formed and are growing, with extensions in Europe and elsewhere.

There is a growing number of Conservative blogs, and they are organizing, forming web rings and exploiting social networking services.

Feeling like a victim again, are you?

""Never underestimate a fanatic's fanaticism. Dealing with religious extremists is the toughest challenge of all. They have one great advantage over the rest of us: True believers submerge their lives in their cause.""

Too bad history has proved this nonsense wrong. Secular liberalism defeated the Empire of Japan Empire.

Don't panic. You are safe. Go back hiding in your closets and play with yourselves. The liberals and their secular Constitution of USA will protect you.

Boo. There is a liberal muslim following you.

We defeated Imperial Japan at great cost in blood and treasure. Their fanaticism was matched only by the fanaticism of freedom loving Yanks. But we had to send Little Boy & Fat Man to finish the job.

Thuges and Assassins raised Hell far disproportionate to their numbers.

Ali Ben Ali Mohammad Abdul,

Your jingoistic flag waving not with standing, the religiously fanatical Empire Of Japan was defeated by equally committed multinational followers of secular liberalism, Islam, Hinduism, Marxism, and Buddhism as well as Christianity and Judaism.

That's right Ben! The rightwing movement is gaining in steam, momentum and in numbers (by the day). Although we have to watch the left thrust us deeper into socialist hell for the next 4 years while we watch this latest attempt at a coup d'etat (of our one time free republic) with our current administration - they (the left AND islam) must realize it has only served to stoke the fires of our rightwing base. I'm sure you gentlemen will excuse me while I go wave my jingoistic flag . . .

Japan was defeated by two high-tech devices which devastated two cities critical to Japan's war industry.

Even the loser can inflict horrible casualties and damage, as Japan did in Asia.
