We didn't "settle"!

This is for all of the women out there who didn’t “settle” (and the men who believe in them). 

According the exit polls, women supported Clinton over Trump by 12%.  A couple of comments about the exit polls.  First-are these the same polls they were using to predict Hillary’s landslide win?  Second-considering the political climate for this election and the fact that there were obviously a lot more people who voted for Trump than admitted it to the pollsters, how many women do you really think answered honestly when they were asked who they voted for?  My 22 year old son doesn’t even talk to his friends about supporting Trump-how likely were many of the women (and even men) to admit that they voted for Trump in front of a potentially hostile group of people?  Oh wait, the left is the party of love and tolerance and acceptance so that can’t be a reason.

I am proud to be raising a daughter who is self-confident and strong enough to realize that she can be represented by someone who doesn’t look like her or speak like her.  She isn’t going to be conned with the idea that she has to vote for someone just because they have the same anatomical parts as her.  Obviously, at least 42% of the women who voted also realized this.  I don’t think any of these women voted for Trump because he was a man-they voted for him because they heard his message and liked it! 

We are the women who are working at McDonalds because the job we worked at for years was eliminated when the company was closed or left the country because they could no longer afford to operate here.  We are the women working two or three part time jobs to make ends meet because our hours have been cut due to the costs of Obamacare.  We are the women who cried inside every day we left our babies at daycare because we couldn’t afford to stay home and raise them ourselves.  We are the women who are the cheerleaders for our husbands and children who are struggling to find a job.  We are the women crying over the bodies of our dead children who were killed because they ended up in a gang after they couldn’t find a job and had too much time on their hands.  We are the women who have succeeded with our lives because we worked hard and didn’t expect the government to take care of us.   We are the women who know things can be better and are willing to work to make it happen.

We are this nation’s mothers, grandmothers, sisters, wives, daughters and girlfriends. We are all races and all classes and all religions.  We have high standards we expect our leaders to meet and we aren’t willing to settle for less.  As soon as the woman who meets these standards decides to run and is willing to brave the terrible attacks from the media and the left, we will be at the front of the line to vote for her.  We are smart enough to know that we don’t have to settle for someone like Hillary who is against everything we believe in.  We are patient enough to wait for the right person.  We are strong enough to defend our choice when she comes along.

Right now, we have more important things to do.  Short term, we will let our president elect and other leaders know what we need.  Long term-we are nurturing those future woman presidents and they will be women we will be proud to vote for!

Never settle!

The morning after...

So this morning there is wailing and gnashing of teeth in the lame-stream media.  It's fun watching them scramble after they had to toss out all of the stories I'm sure they had planned for today.  Just think of all of those lovely stories about how Hillary rose above all of the challenges to become the first woman elected president in spite of Trump being such a bully that are frantically being deleted 

On GMA, one of their big stories is about how to talk to your children after this election and what to say about how terrible it was. They have a psychiatrist on talking about how to help your precious little snowflake deal with the disappointment of the election.  My kids have been exposed to politics all their lives.  I remember coming home the night Paul Wellstone was elected to hear from my then 2 year old son "that's the naughty man who steals mommy and daddy's pennies."  Fast forward today to the 22 year old young man who proudly voted for Trump and was texting me half the night with updates.  My 17 year old daughter is dragging today at school as she was up until after one this morning waiting for results.  Yesterday the 18 year old seniors at her school were proudly walking around with Trump signs to let everyone know who they voted for-what a great thing to know that even though your state didn't go for Trump, the first time you voted you were on the winning side of a historical event.

Here are some of the lessons my daughter learned from this election:  Think for yourself-you can't trust everything you hear from the media-you have to look deeper  at the motives behind their message.  Just because someone is a woman (or whatever you identify with) doesn't mean you have to vote with her.  Standards and character are more important than race/gender/orientation.  Your lies will catch up with you.  Think before you tweet.  Emails never go away.  Every vote does count.  Be yourself-even if you are brash and may put your foot in your mouth, at least you are being honest and don't have to try to remember the story you told last time. Be gracious when you win.  Don't ever wear suits that would look better on a Kirby.

No Trump wasn't my first choice but as the campaign went along I realized he was the best choice.  Hillary would have steam-rollered my original pick-Trump was what we needed now!  We've been given a second chance-don't blow it!

In a side note: They just had a commercial for Starbucks with the message that the red cup is coming. I think the red cup has arrived...

My closing warning (hope?) for today: Get out of the way so you're not trampled by the exodus of disappointed celebrities. Good bye and  don't let the screen door hit you on your way out.

Islam is a Lie, Muslims are Liars and the Press Promulgates the Lies

The Irish Times uttered and published a spew of deception which must not go unanswered.  News media should inform, not deceive.  I will let most of the lies slide to concentrate on one target rich paragraph.

During the life of the Prophet Muhammad, the wars fought were all defensive wars. And he forbade the killing of woman, children, elders and religious leaders during war. Inciting terror in the hearts of civilians is forbidden in Islam. In fact, in the holy Koran, the primary source of Islamic law, a verse states: “Whoever kills an innocent it is as if he has killed the whole of humanity.”

    The assertion that Moe only fought defensive battles is an egregious lie, easily disproved.  Turn first to the Noble Qur'an, Surah Al-Anfal.

. And (remember) when Allâh promised you (Muslims) one of the two parties (of the enemy i.e. either the army or the caravan) that it should be yours, you wished that the one not armed (the caravan) should be yours, but Allâh willed to justify the truth by His Words and to cut off the roots of the disbelievers (i.e. in the battle of Badr). [8:7]

Allah promised them a victory, and they were lusting after the rich spoils of a caravan on the trade route.  The Meccan army went out to defend the caravan, not to attack Moe. Moe went out to attack the caravan, and was met by the army. 

    Until 2001, I was unaware of the extortion letters which Moe dictated and dispatched to neighboring kingdoms and empires.   Because I learned about them in a Paltalk chatroom, you will learn about them through this blog post.  I present to you two brief excerpts from Moe's letter to the Chiefs of Aqaba. This letter stands out from the mill run because it is extremely explicit. The others leave a little to the imagination.

[...] I do not intend to wage war against you till you receive my written reason for it. It is better for you, either to accept Islam or agree to pay Jiziya and consent to remain obedient to Allah, His prophet and his messengers.[...]  [...] If you do not accept these terms and set them aside, I do not need your presents and gifts. In that case, I shall have to wage war (to establish peace and security). Its result would be that the big ones shall be killed in war and the commoners shall be taken prisoners.[...]

     Moe expressed his intention to wage war unless tribute was paid.  That is offensive, not defensive warfare.  The two main jihad imperatives begin with commands to fight: 8:39 & 9:29; where is the defensive element in those verses?

• Fight against those who[...]

    Surah Al-Baqarah supposedly preaches defensive jihad; 2:190 tells Muslims to fight those who fight them. It does not say those who attack them.  Click the link, read the ayat and scroll down to read the footnote which defines jihad.  Where is the defensive element in that definition?

• And fight in the Way of Allâh those who fight you[...]

Sahih Muslim 19.4294 contains some clarifying elements.

• Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah.
• If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah's help and fight them.

It becomes obvious that "those who fight you" means those who resist.  Islamic law confirms the obvious. The Shafi'ite school sets a minimum of one ghazwat per year.

• [...] "The least that the imam must do is that he allow no year to pass without having organised a military expedition by himself, or by his raiding parties, according to the Muslims' interest, so that the jihad will only be stopped in a year for a (reasonable) excuse."

• [...]In the time of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) jihad was a communal obligation after his emigration (hijra) to Medina. As for subsequent times, there are two possible states in respect to non-Muslims.

  The first is when they are in their own countries, in which case jihad (def: o9.8) is a communal obligation, and this is what our author is speaking of when he says, "Jihad is a communal obligation," meaning upon the Muslims each year. [Reliance of the Traveller O9.1]

The Hanifi school says that jihad must be continuous and is undertaken on Islamic initiative.

• War must be carried on against the Infidels, at all times, by some party of the Muslims. [Hedaya Vol. II, Book IX, Chapter 1, Page 140]
• The destruction of the sword  is incurred by infidels, although they be not the first aggressors, as appears from various passages in the  sacred writings which are generally received this effect. [Hedaya Vol. II, Book IX, Chapter 1, Page 141]

    Isn't that nice, Moe prohibited his army from killing women and children.  Muslims want us to assume that the proscription is based on morality. It is not; far from it.  The proscription is economic.

• Some [jurists] are of the opinion that all of them may be killed, on the mere ground that they are unbelievers, but they make an exception for women and children since they constitute property for Muslims. [Imam Ibn Taymiyyah]
• [...](so that) a group (of them) you killed, and a group (of them) you made captives [33:26]
  • [...]and the prisoners were their children and women.[...] [Tafsir Ibn Kathir]
  • When a child or a woman is taken captive, they become slaves by the fact of capture, and the woman's previous marriage is immediately annulled. [Reliance O9.13]
• Make a holy war, do not embezzle the spoils; do not break your pledge; and do not mutilate (the dead) bodies; do not kill the children. [Sahih] Muslim 19.4294

What do embezzlement and killing children have in common? Children are part of the spoils!

Inciting terror

    Forbidden in Islam?  Yeah, right.

• We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve,[...] [3:151]
• [...] I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes." [8:12]
• [...]Allâh brought them down from their forts and cast terror into their hearts[...][33:26]
• [...]I have been made victorious with terror [...][Sahih Bukhari 4.52.220]

    They love to cite Surah Al-Ma'idah 32 but never cite the ayat which follows it; why is that?

• The recompense of those who wage war against Allâh and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off on the opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the Hereafter. [5:33]
  • `Wage war' mentioned here means, oppose and contradict, and it includes disbelief, blocking roads and spreading fear in the fairways. [Tafsir Ibn Kathir]

Ibn Kathir defined wage war against Allah to include disbelief;  If you do not believe in Allah, you are waging war against him, and may be killed by Muslims.  Only Muslims can be innocent.

Learn to Write, Ema

Recalcitrant zealots

To write well, Ema, one must have some mastery of vocabulary, syntax and rhetoric. But without relevant facts, those factors are useless in a political debate. I used the word zealots, Ema, to which I added a qualifier: recalcitrant. Zealots, Ema, are fanatics who believe and attempt to carry out Allaha's demonic imperatives. Recalcitrant zealots refers to those Muslims who can not be separated from Allah's yoke of slavery, who will persist in genocidal aggression no matter what. Example: the Hamaas goons who fill the streets brandishing rifles, grenades, knives and other weapons along with the demon's banner. We see thousands of them every time another Falestinian terrorist is sent to burn with Allah. Recalcitrant zealots does not mean women and children, Ema.

There are, as I stated before, two ways a Muslim can be rendered anodyne: apostasy and death. Age & gender are irrelevant to the matter. Muslims kill, by Allah's orders. If they are believers, Ema. I quoted 49:15, which defines the test of believers: only those who fight with their wealth and their lives in Allahs cause, Ema. I also cited Bukhari 4.52.65 which defines Allah's cause.

Women & children

Lets turn back to the issue of women and children. In Sahih Muslim 19.4294, Moe is quoted as saying:

Make a holy war, do not embezzle the spoils; do not break your pledge; and do not mutilate (the dead) bodies; do not kill the children.

How would the holiness of a war be impaired by embezzling the spoils? How would the holiness of a war be impaired by killing children? How are the two related? By identity!!! Children are spoils, Ema. Understanding the evil of Islam involves some familiarity with Shari'ah. Once again, I cite Umdat as-Salik. [Emphasis added.]

When a child or a woman is taken captive, they become slaves by the fact of capture, and the woman's previous marriage is immediately annulled.

The true purpose of Jihad is accrual of spoils. Captive women and children are income property for Muslims.

I use the Hilali & Khan translation for reference. That is the one I keep in a file just below my desktop. It is a chm file with table of contents, index, search and favorites tabs. Others can download it from the New Expanded Library at Crusader's Armory. I also have the pdf version with the translator's notes. In case you want a copy for your desk top, there is a download link in the Resources post at Go Burn With Muhammad. For those who prefer the on line version, start with 2:190, read the footnote carefully.

I usually link to http://www.quranbrowser.com. In my previous post exposing Ema's stupidity and ignorance, I linked to three parallel translations by Pickthal, Shakir & Yusuf Ali at the Muslim Student Association at USC because it is easy to follow context there. While the word selections vary, the meanings do not. Hilali, Rodwell & Sale are less prone than others to Bowdlerize the text. Links at the bottom of the page at quranbrowser give access to proceeding and succeeding verses. Http://www.qtafsir.com has a search engine so you can look up verses in Ibn Kathir's Tafsir.

The Qur'an can not be interpreted, only explained by comparison of ayat & hadith. It contains two kinds of ayat: clear and ambiguous. The clear verses are to be believed in and implemented; the unclear verses are to be believed but neither interpreted nor implemented. Intelligent readers may easily verify this fact by consulting Ibn Kathir's tafsir of 3:7.

Moe's extra-quranic words and works are the only authentic interpretation of the Qur'an. They are found in his sira & sunna. Moe, being Allah's mouthpiece, was the only one authorized to interpret what he recited. Speaking for Allah, he said:

Pickthall	And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is all for Allah. But if they cease, then lo! Allah is Seer of what they do.
Yusuf Ali	And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in God altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily God doth see all that they do.
Hilali-Khan	And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allah) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allah Alone [in the whole of the world]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allah), then certainly, Allah is All-Seer of what they do.
Shakir	And fight with them until there is no more persecution and religion should be only for Allah; but if they desist, then surely Allah sees what they do.

Allah's Apostle said, "I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.' And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah." Narrated Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Malik, "O Abu Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?" He replied, "Whoever says, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah', faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have."

Narrated Anas ibn Malik:

The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: I am commanded to fight with men till they testify that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is His servant and His Apostle, face our qiblah (direction of prayer), eat what we slaughter, and pray like us. When they do that, their life and property are unlawful for us except what is due to them. They will have the same rights as the Muslims have, and have the same responsibilities as the Muslims have.

The words vary, the meaning does not. Two ayat, ten translations, one hadith from two narrators & translators. Commands to fight and a confirmation that he was commanded to fight.

Is there not more than one version of each of the world's holy scripts?

Fact: For every example of a call for holy war that can be pointed to in any of the 'holy' books of the major religions - it is up to people to learn to live together in peace.

Fact: You call for unending war, you say _all_ muslim call for unending war.

What is the difference between you and your make-believe enemy?

Answer the questions, Oh Grate Won.

It is more than a call to war, Ema! It is a collection of Goddamn imperatives, confirmed by hadith and codified in Shari'ah. Let him who has a brain get a clue.

• 2:216. Jihâd (holy fighting in Allâh's Cause) is ordained for you (Muslims) though you dislike it, and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allâh knows but you do not know.
  

Ordained means legislated; its law. Holy fighting in Allah's cause is a binding obligation on all Muslims.

Jihad or Hell

• 9:38. O you who believe! What is the matter with you, that when you are asked to march forth in the Cause of Allâh (i.e. Jihâd) you cling heavily to the earth? Are you pleased with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But little is the enjoyment of the life of this world as compared with the Hereafter.
  
  9:39. If you march not forth, He will punish you with a painful torment and will replace you by another people, and you cannot harm Him at all, and Allâh is Able to do all things.
• Abu Dawud Book 14, Number 2497:
  Narrated AbuUmamah:
  
  The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: He who does not join the warlike expedition (jihad), or equip, or looks well after a warrior's family when he is away, will be smitten by Allah with a sudden calamity. Yazid ibn Abdu Rabbihi said in his tradition: 'before the Day of Resurrection".
• 61:10. O You who believe! Shall I guide you to a commerce that will save you from a painful torment.
  
  61:11. That you believe in Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad ), and that you strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allâh with your wealth and your lives, that will be better for you, if you but know!
  
  61:12. (If you do so) He will forgive you your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow, and pleasant dwelling in Gardens of 'Adn ­ Eternity ['Adn (Edn) Paradise], that is indeed the great success.
  
  61:13. And also (He will give you) another (blessing) which you love, help from Allâh (against your enemies) and a near victory. And give glad tidings (O Muhammad ) to the believers.

Go to Jihad or go to Hell. What could possibly be more clear? The two primary Jihad imperatives are quoted in two tables above. Hilali & Khan have multiple references:

LETTER TO THE JEWS OF KHYBER In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful From Muhammad, the Prophet of Allah who is like Moosa (Moses A.S.) a prophet and messenger and he testifies to what Moosa (A.S.) had brought. 0 people of Torah, has Allah not stated in the Torah that "Muhammad (Sal Allaho Alehe Wasallam) is a Prophet of Allah. The people who will be with him, shall be harsh towards the enemies of Allah. And amongst themselves, they shall be kind and loving. They shall bow and prostrate before Allah. And they shall seek His bounty and goodwill". I ask you to swear by Allah, who sent Torah for you and who made your forefathers eat 'mann, and 'Salva' and dried sea for them and rid them of the tyranny of pharaoh. It is not written in Torah that you should believe in me? After the explanation about me in the Torah, do guidance and transgression become apparent? Therefore I invite you towards Allah and His Prophet.' Seal: Allah's Prophet Muhammad

Sahih Bukhari Volume 5, Book 59, Number 512:

Narrated Anas:

The Prophet offered the Fajr Prayer near Khaibar when it was still dark and then said, "Allahu-Akbar! Khaibar is destroyed, for whenever we approach a (hostile) nation (to fight), then evil will be the morning for those who have been warned." Then the inhabitants of Khaibar came out running on the roads. The Prophet had their warriors killed, their offspring and woman taken as captives. Safiya was amongst the captives, She first came in the share of Dahya Alkali but later on she belonged to the Prophet . The Prophet made her manumission as her 'Mahr'.

No expiration date

Jihad is not an anachronism; it has no expiration date.

Abu Dawud Book 14, Number 2526


Narrated Anas ibn Malik:

The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: Three things are the roots of faith: to refrain from (killing) a person who utters, "There is no god but Allah" and not to declare him unbeliever whatever sin he commits, and not to excommunicate him from Islam for his any action; and jihad will be performed continuously since the day Allah sent me as a prophet until the day the last member of my community will fight with the Dajjal (Antichrist). The tyranny of any tyrant and the justice of any just (ruler) will not invalidate it. One must have faith in Divine decree.

Sahih Muslim Book 020, Number 4716:

It has been narrated on the authority of Mughira who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) say: A group of people from my Umma will continue to be triumphant over the people until the Command of Allah overtakes them while they are still triumphant. The same tradition has been narrated through another chain of transmitters on the same authority.
