White people shouldn't be allowed to vote

It's for the good of the country and for those who're bitter for a reason and armed because they're scared.

As a lifelong Caucasian, I am beginning to think the time has finally come to take the right to vote away from white people, at least until we come to our senses. Seriously, I just don't think we can be trusted to exercise it responsibly anymore.

I give you Exhibit A: The last eight years.

In 2000, Bush-Cheney stole the election, got us attacked, and then got us into two no-exit wars. Four years later, white people reelected them. Is not the repetition of the same behavior over and over again with the expectation of a different outcome the very definition of insanity? (It is, I looked it up.)

Exhibit B is any given Sarah Palin rally.

Exhibit C would be Ed Rendell and John Murtha, who in separate moments of on-the-record candor they would come to regret, pointing out that there are plenty of people in Pennsylvania who just cannot bring themselves to pull the lever for a black man - no matter what they tell pollsters.

These people are ruining things for the rest of us white people who are ready to move on. Sure, they have their reasons, chimerical though they may be: He's a Muslim. He's a terrorist. He's a Muslim terrorist. He's going to fire all the white people and give their jobs to blacks.

But those are just the little white lies these people allow themselves to be told, a self-induced cognitive dissonance that lets them avoid saying the unsayable: I cannot pull the lever for a black man.

Hey, some people just aren't ready yet, even the governor said so. Just like some people aren't ready yet for computers or setting the clock on the VCR.

Or, to hear Murtha tell it, some people - specifically some people in Western Pennsylvania - will never be ready. But the fact is, if you did a statewide head count of racists, you'd find just as many in eastern Pennsylvania as you would in the western part of the state.

That's why this ban on white people voting I'm proposing has got to be statewide. And I'm sorry to say, it's going to have to include all white people, even those who would vote for Obama, because you can't just let some white people vote. That would be unfair.

By this point, you either think I am joking or are calling me an elitist. I assure you I am neither. OK, maybe a little of both. But it wasn't always like this. I come from the Coal Belt, from that Alabamian hinterland between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, as per James Carville's famous formulation.

I am, in fact, just two generations out of the coal mines that blackened the lungs of my grandfather, leaving him disabled, despondent and, finally, dead at the ripe old age of 54.

So, understand that I am saying all this for the good of the country and, in fact, for the good of those hard-working white people that Hillary used to pander to.

I know those people, I come from them. They are not some shameful abstract demographic to be brushed under the rug of euphemism by Wolf Blitzer and his ilk.

I have broken kielbasa with those people. I went to school with their children. I have gone to Sunday Mass with a deer-hunter hangover with those people. They are bitter with good reason, and they are armed because they are scared. They mean well, but they are easily spooked.

I fear for what is to become of them after the campaigns leave town for the last time, and Scranton and Allentown and Carlisle go back to being the long dark chicken dance of the national soul they were before the media showed up.

The New York Times carried a story on Saturday, October 4, 2008 that proved you had a significantly closer relationship with Bill Ayers than what you previously admitted. While the issue of your relationship is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America about it. The Chicago Sun reported on May 8, 2008 that FBI records showed that you had a significantly closer relationship with Tony Rezko than what you previously admitted. In the interview, you said that you only saw Mr. Rezko a couple of times a year. The FBI files showed that you saw him weekly. While the issue of your relationship is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America about it. Your speech in Philadelphia on March 18, 2008 about 'race' contradicted your statement to Anderson Cooper on March 14 when you said that you never heard Reverend Wright make his negative statements about white America . While your attendance at Trinity Church for 20 years is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America on March 14. In your 1st debate with John McCain, you said that you never said that you would meet with the leaders of Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, and North Korea without 'preparations' at lower levels ... Joe Biden repeated your words in his debate with Sarah Palin ... while the video tape from your debate last February clearly shows that you answered 'I would' to the question of meeting with those leaders within 12 months without 'any' preconditions. You now claim that your reason for voting against funding for the troops was because the bill did not include a time line for withdrawal while the video tapes of you from more than a year ago show that you voted against additional funding because you wanted our troops to be removed immediately ... not in 16 months after the 2008 election as you now claim. While your judgment about removing our troops unilaterally in 2007 is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America about your previous position. You claim to have a record of working with Republicans while the record shows that the only bill that you sponsored with a Republican was with Chuck Lugar ... and it failed. The record shows that you vote 97% in concert with the Democrat party and that you have the most liberal voting record in the Senate. You joined Republicans only 13% of the time in your votes and those 13% were only after agreement from the Democrat party. While it is of concern that you fail to include conservatives in your actions and that you are such a liberal, the greater concern is that you distorted the truth. In the primary debates of last February, 2008, you claimed to have talked with a 'Captain' of a platoon in Afghanistan 'the other day' when in fact you had a discussion in 2003 with a Lieutenant who had just been deployed to Afghanistan . You lied in that debate. In your debates last spring, you claimed to have been a 'professor of Constitutional law' when in fact you have never been a professor of Constitutional law. In this last debate, you were careful to say that you 'taught a law class' and never mentioned being a 'professor of Constitutional law.' You lied last spring. You and Joe Biden both claimed that John McCain voted against additional funding for our troops when the actual records show the opposite. You distorted the truth. You and Joe Biden claim that John McCain voted against funding for alternate energy sources 20 times when the record shows that John McCain specifically voted against funding for bio fuels, especially corn ... and he was right ... corn is too expensive at producing ethanol, and using corn to make ethanol increased the price of corn from $2 a bushel to $6 a bushel for food. You distorted the truth. You and Joe Biden claim that John McCain voted like both of you for a tax increase on those making as little as $42,000 per year while the voting record clearly shows that John McCain did not vote as you and Joe Biden. You lied to America . You and Joe Biden claim that John McCain voted with George W. Bush 90% of the time when you know that Democrats also vote 90% of the time with the President (including Joe Biden) because the vast majority of the votes are procedural. You are one of the few who has not voted 90% of the time with the president because you have been missing from the Senate since the day you got elected. While your absence from your job in the Senate is of concern, the greater concern is that you spin the facts. You did not take an active roll in the rescue plan. You claimed that the Senate did not need you while the real reason that you abstained was because of your close relationships with the executives of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Countrywide, and Acorn ... who all helped cause the financial problems of today ... and they all made major contributions to your campaign. While your relationship with these executives and your protection of them for your brief 3 years in the Senate (along with Barney Frank, Chuck Schumer, Maxine Waters, and Chris Dodd) is of concern, the greater concern is that you are being deceitful. You forgot to mention that you personally represented Tony Rezko and Acorn. Tony Rezko, an Arab and close friend to you, was convicted of fraud in Chicago real estate transactions that bilked millions of tax dollars from the Illinois government for renovation projects that you sponsored as a state senator ... and Acorn has been convicted of voter fraud, real estate sub prime loan intimidation, and illegal campaign contributions. Tony Rezko has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to your political campaigns. You personally used your political positions to steer money to both Tony Rezko and Acorn and you used Acorn to register thousands of phony voters for Democrats and you. While your relationships with Rezko and Acorn are of concern, the greater concern is that you omitted important facts about your relationships with them to America . During your campaign, you said: 'typical white person.' 'they cling to their guns and religion.' 'they will say that I am black.' You played the race card. You tried to label any criticism about you as racist. You divide America . You claim that you will reduce taxes for 95% of America , but you forgot to tell America that those reductions are after you remove the Bush tax reductions. You have requested close to $1 Billion in earmarks and several million for Acorn. Your social programs will cost America $1 Trillion per year and you claim that a reduction in military spending ($100 billion for Iraq ) can pay for it. While your economic plan of adding 30% to the size of our federal government is of concern, the greater concern is that you are deceiving America . The drain to America 's economy by foreign supplied oil is $700 Billion per year (5% of GDP) while the war in Iraq is $100 Billion (less than 1% of GDP). You voted against any increases to oil exploration for the last 3 years and any expansion of nuclear facilities. Yet today, you say that you have always been for more oil and more nuclear. You are lying to America . Mr. Obama, you claimed that you 'changed' your mind about public financing for your campaign because of the money spent by Republican PACs in 2004. The truth is that the Democrat PACs in 2004, 2006, and 2008 spent twice as much as the Republican PACs (especially George Soros and MoveOn.org). You are lying to America . Mr. Obama, you have done nothing to stop the actions of the teachers union and college professors in the USA . They eliminated religion from our history. They teach pro gay agendas and discuss sex with students as young as first grade. They bring their personal politics into the classrooms. They disparage conservatives. They brainwash our children. They are in it for themselves ... not America . Are you reluctant to condemn their actions because teachers/professors and the NEA contribute 25% of all money donated to Democrats and none to Republicans? You are deceiving America . Oh Mr. Obama, Teddy Roosevelt said about a hundred years ago that we Americans should first look at the character of our leaders before anything else. Your character looks horrible. While you make good speeches, motivating speeches, your character does not match your rhetoric. You talk the talk but do not walk the walk. 1. You lied to America . You lied many times. You had associations with some very bad people for your personal political gains and then lied about those associations. 4. You divide America about race and about class. Operational leadership experience like all 43 previously elected presidents of the USA as a Navy Officer for 22 years. 26 years in the Senate. Straight talk. Maverick. 54% of the time participated on bills with Democrats. Never asked for an earmark. The only blemish on his record is his part in the Keating 5 debacle about 25 years ago. Mr. Obama, at Harvard Law School , you learned that the end does not justify the means. You learned that perjury, false witness, dishonesty, distortion of truth are never tolerated. Yet, your dishonesty is overwhelming. Your dishonesty is tremendously greater than the dishonesty that caused the impeachment and disbarment of Bill Clinton. Your dishonesty is tremendously greater than the dishonesty of Scooter Libby. You should be ashamed. Mr. Obama, it is time for us Americans to put aside our differences on political issues and vote against you because of your dishonest character. It is time for all of us Americans to put aside our political issues and vote for America first. It is time for America to vote for honesty. Any people who vote for you after understanding that you are dishonest should be ashamed of themselves for making their personal political issues more important than character. Would these same people vote for the anti-Christ if the anti-Christ promised them riches? Would they make a golden calf while Moses was up the mountain? Would they hire someone for a job if that someone lied in an interview? ... of course not. So why do some of these people justify their votes for you even though they know you are dishonest? Why do they excuse your dishonesty? Because some of these people are frightened about the future, the economy, and their financial security ... and you are preying on their fears with empty promises ... and because some (especially our young people) are consumed by your wonderful style and promises for 'change' like the Germans who voted for Adolf Hitler in 1932. The greed/envy by Germans in 1932 kept them from recognizing Hitler for who he was. They loved his style. Greed and envy are keeping many Americans from recognizing you ... your style has camouflaged your dishonesty ... but many of us see you for who you really are ... and we will not stop exposing who you are every day, forever if it is necessary. Mr. Obama, you are dishonest. Anyone who votes for you is enabling dishonesty. Mr. Obama, America cannot trust that you will put America first in your decisions about the future. Mr. Obama, you are not the 'change' that America deserves. We cannot trust you. Mr. Obama, You are not ready and not fit to be commander in chief. Mr. Obama, John McCain does not have as much money as your campaign to refute all of your false statements. And for whatever reasons, the mainstream media will not give adequate coverage or research about your lies, distortions, word parsing, bad associations, race baiting, lack of operational leadership experience, and general dishonest character. The media is diverting our attention to your relationships and ignoring the fact that you lied about those relationships. The fact that you lied is much more important than the relationships themselves ... just like with Bill Clinton and Richard Nixon ... Monica Lewinski and Watergate were not nearly as bad as the fact that those gentlemen lied about the events ... false witness ... perjury ... your relationships and bad judgments are bad on their own ... but your lies are even worse. Therefore, by copy of this memo, all who read this memo are asked to send it to everyone else in America before it is too late. We need to do the job that the media will not do. The Audacity of Dope

This used to be about a Presidential race. But with Michelle Obama's recent attacks on the African Press International (API) where she accused them of publishing a story because they were 'racists,' it appears that it is no longer about a Presidential race, it is just about race, period.

Toss in Democrat John Murtha's comments that suggest anyone who does not vote for Obama is a 'racist' or a 'redneck,' and you have accurate representation of what rung in the gutter the Democrats and all those out in left field have sunk to in this election. Everywhere there is the association that if you fail to vote for Obama, you are a racist.

But the shoe is entirely on the wrong foot here...for is a 'racist' not the person who would vote for a candidate because of the candidate's race? Such a person, a 'racist,' makes his decisions based on race, not because he agrees with the candidate's policies. Racism determines his decisions, not reason.

Michelle Obama supposed that the individuals of API were, individually, each a racist and were motivated to print a truthful story because Barack Obama is black. Of course this boggles the mind (see previous post) and demands the question, how can Michelle Obama, John Murtha, the whacked lefty-college professor, Madonna, or any body KNOW WHAT MOTIVATES ANOTHER PERSON'S VOTE???

Where do these people get off on ASSUMING that they can judge a person's heart, motivation and intent? Who gives them the right to so harshly judge and condemn other human beings like this? Is it not blatantly obvious and evident to all that when one claims to have such deep insight into another person's soul, which we all know is impossible, it is the same as announcing to the world, "I am a moron; I am a dope. And if you believe me, you are also a clueless dope."

Yet liberals have swallowed the dope - hook, line and sinker. They now assume that indeed it is true, if you do not vote for Obama, you are a racist.

Now I am not a Howard Stern fan. I strongly disagree with his selfish treatment of women. But even he could see through this foolishness, this Audacity of Dope, on behalf of the Obama campaign, as they are deliberately making this election about race.

Recently Stern sent a team out into New York city to interview people about the election. What his team did, however, was, when they found an Obama supporter, they asked about policies, and if the person agreed with the policy. Only the interviewers secretly exchanged McCain policies for Obama's policies so the person was being presented a McCain policy as if it was Obama's. And every time, the person being interviewed agreed with the policy if he thought it was an Obama policy.

Run that through your head a few times.

This election is all about race to many voters because Barack and Michelle Obama, and the Democratic machine, have deliberately made this about race to be able to win an election. They have inserted a harmful, divisive element into this society. The very ones who claim to be fighting racism, are indeed CAUSING RACISM.

This is shameful!

Michelle Obama, Democrats Are Omniscient

Michelle Obama is omniscient (which, for our pagan, Dumbocrat friends, means all-knowing.) Yes she is all-knowing. And so are all Democrats.

How do we know this? Well, it is because Michelle Obama can read the motives of your heart when you go cast your vote. She can tell that if you do not vote for her socialist husband in the upcoming election, you did not vote for him because you are a racist.

Yes, if you do not vote for Obama, it is because you are a slave-owning, cross-burning KKK piece of trash who is nothing but a hateful bigot. You are a racist puke if you do not vote for Obama.

Racist, racist, racist. You; you're a racist.

Of course this is what Michelle accused the African press corp of in her recent phone call to them because they had done their jobs, which was to report the news. Because the news was related to the fact that Barack Obama is a crony of a Kenyan thug, and now prime minister who has promised to establish Islamic Shariah Law in Kenya, Michelle Obama claims that the African Press International (API) reported on this because they were "racists."

Think about that one for a moment...

But that is not all. Recently an American youth wore a McCain-Palin t-shirt to school and was also labelled 'a racist' by someone who obviously shares Michelle Obama's intelligence level and omniscient insight. In fact, it is now politically correct, thanks to the left field's propaganda arm, the mainstream media, to associate voting for McCain with being a racist. If you vote for McCain, you are a racist. Period.

Isn't it liberating to know that there is an element of society that can read the minds, hearts, and intentions of everyone else in the country, and even in Africa? It is simply thrilling to know that Michelle Obama and the Democrats can look into all the hearts of their fellow Americans, and those in the AIP, of course, and judge what motivates their actions. It is amazing! I didn't think that was possible. I thought only God (this for the liberals, "God" is the name we use for the Supreme Being of the universe) was able to judge the hearts and minds of people, not Democrats!

But then again, there WAS another Biblical character that, if I remember correctly, Michelle Obama's behavior has parallels to...it was that character who presumed to know the hearts of others, and spent a lot of time challenging their motives and questioning their intentions ...oh, yes, he was called 'The Accuser.' His other name was Satan.

He presupposed that it was his duty to evaluate the hearts, minds and intentions of God's creatures by taking what was, wrapping it up in a package of accusation and condemnation, and presenting it as truth to God. Or visa-versa.

Yes, the Accuser could easily dish out things about a person, passing it off as revelation or truth. Of course it didn't actually have to be truth, it just had to be a suggestion presented as the truth. Like Michelle Obama's accusation, judgement and condemnation of the API who reported the news about Barack Obama because they are 'racists.'

Since Mrs. Obama and the Democrats are the only ones in the campaign with this ability, the rest of us are left to wonder when such abilities to judge a man will come to non-Democrats and people who are not militant black radicals...or are they the only ones that can see completely inside a man's soul?

Which begs the question, of course, why don't they have any mirrors?

The complicity of the mainstream media in ignoring the Marxist background and terrorist connections – including Islamic - of the leading presidential candidate speaks volumes; namely that the Fabian revolution began in the late 1800’s is not only well advanced but on the threshold of victory. Consider that the lifelong grooming of Manchurian candidate Obama began in Hawaii whereby his own admission he was “mentored” by the leader of a communist cell, Frank Marshall Davis. Even though Davis was sent to Hawaii to spy on U.S. military installations and edit the Hawaiian communist newspaper, the fellow travelers in the media only saw fit to report that Davis was a “poet”. Neglected was the revelation that the “poetry” of the pedophile Davis waxed full of praise to Joseph Stalin.

Further ignored is the credible evidence that money from radical Islamisists not only financed Obama’s education but his presidential campaign with what could possibly amount to hundreds of millions of dollars in illegal overseas contributions.

While the mainstream media fawn over Obama’s “eloquence” they ignore other credible evidence that the communist terrorist William Ayers ghostwrote “Dreams of My Father.” For his part, Obama refuses to release any of his university papers that could easily disprove this assertion if indeed it is untrue. Yet, the mainstream media just yawns. The hypocrisy is nearly incalculable. Imagine the furious non-stop assault upon McCain if it were suspected that a David Duke or similar pariah ghostwrote a memoir for him.

Ironically, McCain helped to craft the sword that Obama will wield to slay not only the McCain campaign but free and open political discourse. While McCain/Feingold expressly limits the very speech the first amendment sought to protect, the Orwellian “Fairness Doctrine” praised by democrats and embraced by Obama, will destroy any media source not willing to dispense politically correct propaganda. Yes, change IS coming.

Moreover, pastors, who from the days of our founders until the mid 1950’s, regularly opined on matters political, now face fines and imprisonment if they do not meekly acquiesce to a truncated exposition of the Word they claim is relevant to all arenas of life. To avoid these recriminations, one must either be a liberal, a minority, or both. The dearth of conservative pastors willing to challenge this unconstitutional abridgment contrasts markedly from the pastors who helped to found this country and served as leaders in the revolutionary war when the certain penalty for their civil disobedience was the loss of life, rather than a tax exemption.

Our culture, by tolerating and even celebrating degeneracy, has largely destroyed the only foundation upon which a free society can stand: moral turpitude. The communist founder of the ACLU, Roger Baldwin, knew this well. His legacy of well-trained agitators, front group forming fellow travelers, and the useful idiots they enlist have successfully obliterated the knowledge that civil liberty is inseparable from personal responsibility, while simultaneously inculcating the belief that civil liberty is a license for irresponsibility. The stated goal of communism, to destroy us from within, continues unabated.

Forgetting that the “Government big enough to give you everything you want is the government big enough to take away all that you have”, Americans leaders obligingly prostrate themselves before a beast of their own creation while it nationalizes the financial industry, devalues the currency and condemns generations yet unborn to serfdom. Just as Voltaire cried for “More Light!” in the final moments of his life, those who have set fire to the house of human freedom now cry out for “More Fuel!” With previous experience funding the communist Chinese military and the infrastructure of Iran while head of Goldman Sachs, Secretary Paulson is well suited to dispense the pyrotechnics.

Our founders did not delineate a comprehensive list of inalienable rights. Jefferson summarized them with the words, “Among these are..” then specified the principle three in descending order. The pursuit of happiness does not sanction the trespass of liberty while the exercise of liberty must honor the right to life. In 1973 when our highest court declared the pre-eminent inalienable right to be null and void it philosophically declared that rights themselves no longer exist; only temporary privileges granted by the state. Using Roe V. Wade as cover Obama seeks to extend the slaughter of the pre-born to those born alive. The principle crime of the latter was that they had the “audacity” to survive the attempt to kill them. Perhaps Obama could enlighten the world as to just how old a child must be before that child is endowed with inalienable rights.

The messianic character of the Obama Cult is a direct manifestation of deeply imbibing the proclamation of the Humanist Manifesto that mankind “must save itself”. This declaration, ala Hegel, is in essence a deification of the individual (god) and the collective (God). It makes the state the ultimate arbiter of good and evil, and thus makes the doctrine of enumerated powers so passé. This doctrine, espoused by our founders, is only rational if a transcendent moral authority exists whose jurisdiction supersedes human opinion.

Never mind that the all Utopian Revolutions so deceived have produced the worst tyrannies in the history of mankind. The press, having elevated Obama to the status of “Savior” must consider it a violation of protocol to either question or expose the Marxist and Islamic unseen hand in his rise to power.

For those inclined to believe that socialism is somehow either a compassionate or Christian form of civil government, I share the words of the great theologian Oswald Chambers. Chambers wrote that, “The vision of Socialism is magnificent; these are benedictions and blessings for mankind on the line of Socialism which have never been yet; but once the root is cut from Redemption, it will be one of the most frantic forms of despotic tyranny the human race has ever known. It looks like the lamb, but when the big crisis comes, it gives life to the beast."

Egalitarian propaganda works. Few Americans, especially democrats, are aware that Marx, Mao, Castro, et al, sang the praises of democracy. They viewed democracy as a fundamental precursor to socialism and therefore embraced democracy the same way that Obama and the modern democratic party embraces it; a vehicle to gain the attention support and participation of the masses in their own enslavement.

To those who plan to vote for Obama in November, do you really hate this country that much?

Clinton/Obama-Type Socialism Bred Financial Crisis

The truth finally becomes clear as to why the United States is in the financial mess that it is. Though the main stream (read:liberal) media, Obama himself and every Democrat who can find a microphone is blaming President GW Bush for the entire crisis (just like they blame him for everything, all the time), a revelation that is impossible to ignore points the finger directly where it all started.

The following New York Times article printed on September 30, 1999, leaves no misunderstandings as to how we got in this predicament. It was the Clinton administration and its normal socialist policies that can be proven to be responsible for opening the Pandora's Box of loans to people who logic said were not qualified.

The Clinton administration put tremendous pressure on financial markets to open themselves up to loans to people whom basically could not afford to carry such loans.

Such 'wisdom' is typical of the short-sighted, ignorant liberal party that does nothing except hurl us toward a socialist system. What else can you call it when the federal government is forced to bail out, and thus own, the commercial structure of this country?

And Obama blames Bush. Which is further evidence that no liberal is actually interested in anything close to the truth, rather simply blindly destroys this country in the name of an ignorant political agenda.

Fannie Mae Eases Credit To Aid Mortgage Lending

In a move that could help increase home ownership rates among minorities and low-income consumers, the Fannie Mae Corporation is easing the credit requirements on loans that it will purchase from banks and other lenders.

The action, which will begin as a pilot program involving 24 banks in 15 markets -- including the New York metropolitan region -- will encourage those banks to extend home mortgages to individuals whose credit is generally not good enough to qualify for conventional loans. Fannie Mae officials say they hope to make it a nationwide program by next spring.

Fannie Mae, the nation's biggest underwriter of home mortgages, has been under increasing pressure from the Clinton Administration to expand mortgage loans among low and moderate income people and felt pressure from stock holders to maintain its phenomenal growth in profits.

In addition, banks, thrift institutions and mortgage companies have been pressing Fannie Mae to help them make more loans to so-called subprime borrowers. These borrowers whose incomes, credit ratings and savings are not good enough to qualify for conventional loans, can only get loans from finance companies that charge much higher interest rates -- anywhere from three to four percentage points higher than conventional loans.

''Fannie Mae has expanded home ownership for millions of families in the 1990's by reducing down payment requirements,'' said Franklin D. Raines, Fannie Mae's chairman and chief executive officer. ''Yet there remain too many borrowers whose credit is just a notch below what our underwriting has required who have been relegated to paying significantly higher mortgage rates in the so-called subprime market.''

Demographic information on these borrowers is sketchy. But at least one study indicates that 18 percent of the loans in the subprime market went to black borrowers, compared to 5 per cent of loans in the conventional loan market.

In moving, even tentatively, into this new area of lending, Fannie Mae is taking on significantly more risk, which may not pose any difficulties during flush economic times. But the government-subsidized corporation may run into trouble in an economic downturn, prompting a government rescue similar to that of the savings and loan industry in the 1980's.

''From the perspective of many people, including me, this is another thrift industry growing up around us,'' said Peter Wallison a resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. ''If they fail, the government will have to step up and bail them out the way it stepped up and bailed out the thrift industry.''

Under Fannie Mae's pilot program, consumers who qualify can secure a mortgage with an interest rate one percentage point above that of a conventional, 30-year fixed rate mortgage of less than $240,000 -- a rate that currently averages about 7.76 per cent. If the borrower makes his or her monthly payments on time for two years, the one percentage point premium is dropped.

Fannie Mae, the nation's biggest underwriter of home mortgages, does not lend money directly to consumers. Instead, it purchases loans that banks make on what is called the secondary market. By expanding the type of loans that it will buy, Fannie Mae is hoping to spur banks to make more loans to people with less-than-stellar credit ratings.

Fannie Mae officials stress that the new mortgages will be extended to all potential borrowers who can qualify for a mortgage. But they add that the move is intended in part to increase the number of minority and low income home owners who tend to have worse credit ratings than non-Hispanic whites.

Home ownership has, in fact, exploded among minorities during the economic boom of the 1990's. The number of mortgages extended to Hispanic applicants jumped by 87.2 per cent from 1993 to 1998, according to Harvard University's Joint Center for Housing Studies. During that same period the number of African Americans who got mortgages to buy a home increased by 71.9 per cent and the number of Asian Americans by 46.3 per cent.

In contrast, the number of non-Hispanic whites who received loans for homes increased by 31.2 per cent.

Despite these gains, home ownership rates for minorities continue to lag behind non-Hispanic whites, in part because blacks and Hispanics in particular tend to have on average worse credit ratings.

In July, the Department of Housing and Urban Development proposed that by the year 2001, 50 percent of Fannie Mae's and Freddie Mac's portfolio be made up of loans to low and moderate-income borrowers. Last year, 44 percent of the loans Fannie Mae purchased were from these groups.

The change in policy also comes at the same time that HUD is investigating allegations of racial discrimination in the automated underwriting systems used by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to determine the credit-worthiness of credit applicants.

Obama's Liberal Fascism Threatens Missouri

Taking a page right out of Benito Mussolini's 1940's Italy book, the Obama-Biden camp has recently threatened to prosecute media outlets in Missouri and other states who would broadcast certain McCain campaign ads that the Obama side feels are 'untruthful.'

With key state legislators and prosecuters in their hip pockets, the Biden-Obama folks actually intend to press charges should McCain ads that do not measure up to Obama's personal 'truth meter' be shown.

Obama's actions show exactly where he stands on the issue of Free Speech. Furthermore, he has already stated that he wants to take people's guns away. It is left only to the imagination how many other Constitutional rights Obama is willing to attempt to trample on to get himself elected.

For this scenario, that of using the state to limit free speech, is nothing but pure facscim, and Obama nothing but a pure liberal fascist.

So Obama thinks some things in McCain's ads might be 'untrue,' while at the same time Obama himself has put forth various versions of many things in his life, like where he was born, when he stopped being a Muslim, what his relationship to MANY nefarious people actually was or is, etc. So if Obama is so interested in the truth, why does he not apply this to his own campaign rather than to try to intimidate the free speech of others with the power of the state?

Is there no level that the morally- and Constitutionally-challenged Obama campaign will not sink to? Does he expect every media manager to bow to Obama's version of the truth? Will the prosecutors be stepping forward in jack-boots and doing some kind of goose-step? What kind of nonsense is this?

If he can pull this kind of outrageous maniuplation against our Constitutional rights to get elected, Barak Obama is a dangerous, dangerous man. And if he acts more like Tony 'The Scar" Mascalletti in a campaign, imagine what he would do with the power of the Oval Office.That cannot be allowed to happen. Americans need to see this man for who he is and respond accordingly.
