International Judge the Qur'an Day: Update

A Google search for "International Judge the Qur'an Day" now returns about 27,000 records and they are not all to my blog posts.  The event is now the subject of some media coverage.

The deleted Facebook page has been  replaced; the new page has 333 supporters.  Images of the Qur'an and related texts have been posted in evidence, 31 to date.  Two of its five discussion threads have current activity.

Visitors to my blog previous blog post on this subject include:

  • Gainsville Police Department
  • Alachua County BOCC
  • University Of Florida/university Medical Center
  • U.S. Department of Homeland Security
  • U.S. Department of Justice

That post had 457 page views spread over several blogs. Asia, Australia & Europe are in the mix. One viewer in Tunisia came through a link sent by email.

Rev. Terry Jones discusses the event in this new video, inviting "peaceful Muslims" to provide a defender and evidence in defense of the Qur'an.
